  1917 /1930,Short Term Memory?

  1917:" the finished mystery"is the first and only book that makes "clear"every part of rvelation and ezekiel.

  wtr,1 oct.1917,6150.. 1930:prior to 1930 there "never was"a satisfactory ( note:the words,never was and satisfactory now replaces the word clear )explanation of the revelation published,the manifest reason being it was not god's due time for his servants to have an understanding thereof...( notice what comes next )it now seems"clear"that is god's due time for his servants to understand that great prophecy so long clothed in mystery.rutherford,vindication i ( 1930 ),5-6.. and this is the book that amazing has on his recent governing body topics,where-in they claim that they were appointed the faithful and discreet slave of jesus back in 1919,yet in 1930 they say that they never had a clear understanding of this for it was not god's due time.so no one was appointed back then as a faithful and discreet slave.. neither did the events claimed in the book to have been fulfilled during the period of 1918 ---1925 ever happen!.

  If you had to choose between Truth or Happiness

  if suddenly you were confronted by someone who could grant it, and offered these two choices, which would you choose (if either).. 1.

  (truth) you can have the answers to all of your questions, know and understand the absolute truth about all things, who we are, where we came from and how it all happened, and most importantly, you will be able to comprehend why.

  the price of this insight is not cheap... you must leave behind everything you know; family, friends, pets, property, all things you value, you do not get to say goodbye and you will never see any of them again.. or.. 2.

  Since finding the truth about the "Truth". I've come to understand the saying "Ignorance is bliss". But I prefer knowing the truth regardless. Truth is priceless. People Die for Truth. And people kill to conceal Truth.

  A point from the "Worship" book

  since i'm still an "active" jw, i've being to the book study and we are going threw the "worship" book, (i was getting sick and tired of the 2 isaiah books) anyway.. on the "worship" book p124 p10 it states quote "those of the great crown are pictured as being marked for survival.

  (ezekiel 9:4-6) "the mark" is the evidence that they are dedicated to jehovah, baptized as disciples of jesus, and involved in cultivating a christlike personality.

It seems that they have changed the meaning of Ezekial's mark of survivial, the verse from the KJV bible says QUOTE "..set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sing and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof." END QUOTE

  The mark has nothing to do with Batizism it depends ONLY what is in a persons heart and how much he loves and feels for other people.

  More lies and twisted reasoning from the WTS.

  "You Should Be Loyal To The Organization Because It Taught You God's Name"

  ...so said my mother when she asked me to read the latest watchtower on "the apostates".

  she said that because i learned "jehovah" was god's name and because "the organization taught" me this, i should, out of loyalty stay in the organization.

  i did not want to get into the "jehovah" name thing but i said in return that if she strongly felt this way, then she should have remained a catholic.

  Your point with your mum was a very good one.

  As far as being loyal to the WTS go's.. The Bible tells us " you recevied freely you give freely..", regarding this point the WTS allways refers to giving of money, and pushs the fact that the WTS doesn't pass plates around their meetings. But what the WTS does expect is that since they taught us some basic truths, then they should expect from us Complete, Undivided and Unquestioned Loyality. This go's against giving freely, it also makes lots of room for telling lots of lies once some truths have being passed on.

  As I am typing this I do not have a bible with me, but there is an account of Paul preaching to some people and then they looked it up in the stricptures themselves and they said "we don't need you any longer because we can read it for ourselves now" and Paul commended them for that, not condem them.

  I'll put my little bit in.

  If you are on speaking terms with your Ex who is still a JW, i'll very privately explain to her that your motives for not admitting to Adultary is only because you don't want to stop seeing your children, she should realise that if you are DFed or DAed then your children can't speak to you when they get batized and its not because you don't want her to remarry, its the WTS that's causeing this to you and her.

  And they say they don' split family's.

  JWs and voting. Is it okay now?

  i know there has been lots of discussion on this issue in the past year but i have been unable to find it.

  i need to know where to find the questions from readers that talked about it being okay for people to vote if their concience allows.

  i brought this issue up with a couple of people, one a rank and file dub and the other an elder.

  Is your marriage healthier now that you're out?

  i already know how some of you will answer.

  i realize that some dear friends here have lost their spouse due to their jw "awakening", but for those of you where both of you are now out, do you feel you are a better husband or wife because of the experience?

  even if your spouse is still in, do you feel you are a better husband/wife?

  WE have only being married for 3 years. But since we have been married I have realised how false the WT is. I was in a spot in the begining, I wanted to stop going to the K/H but my wife still beleived in the WT. So I am still going to allmost all the meetings but don't go door to door, I give answers like a good boy and same even commend me to the quailty of my answers, but0 slowly I am telling my wife a bit more each time, sometmes she listens and sometimes she doesn't but she is getting the point of it all and best of all she can see how unhappy the other poeple in the K/H really are, so at the momwnt I can say I'm getting the best of both worlds.

  I do feel sad for some to have stopped going completely and their partner hasn't, I think its not a good idea to stop attending meetings if your husband or wife still believe in it, it must be handled carefully and done slowly.

  Which Countries are still be charged for Magazines?

  hi there people.. i was listening to a public talk recently and in it the speaker said that the wts is not chargeing money for the magazines to make it easier for people with little money to receive the magazines.

  i told my wife "thats crap".

  there are some countries who are still charged money for magazines, and i beleive most of these countries that are still charged money are from the poorer nations.

  I was listening to a Public Talk recently and in it the speaker said that the WTS is not chargeing money for the magazines to make it easier for people with little money to receive the magazines. I told my wife "thats crap". there are some countries who are still charged money for Magazines, and I beleive most of these countries that are still charged money are from the poorer nations. Can some please confirm this for me and which tell me which countries are still charged money and how can I prove this to her?
